We are here told that “‘ There are some ood anatomists at Paris, misled, @) we believe, by false views respecting the grand zoological sequence e of geology, who cling to the theory of development ” This, be it understood, is the theory of the author of the “Vestiges.” But our reviewer sets their opinions at naught, and, in the true Trulliber vein, very blandly says, “ Were all the anatomists on earth against us, we should not abate one jot of our confidence in the truth of our opinion.”
